Walk : WAW 102

This is that smaller building when it was a green grocers shop.

Over the years it has seen many changes; it was built in 1917 as a branch of Dents, the glove makers.

It is said that twelve women were employed there to operate the sewing machines.

The firm started operating in the old Church room that stood at the rear of what is now, a row of houses built in 1997. The Savoy Cinema stood there at one time.
