St Mary‘s
Tomb in St Mary’s Churchyard.
This tomb belonged to the Sewell family. Two engravings state:-
"Son of Richard and Mary Sewell, William Ward Sewell 1861 aged 40 years."
and
"Two children of Richard and Mary"
Mary Alice September 9th 1826, 20 years, and a son in his infancy, 20 months".
The block of garages with concrete roofs can be seen in the background.
