WOODFORD HALSE.
A VERY PRETTY WEDDING took place at the Parish Church on Saturday, the Vicar (Rev. F. A. Smith) officiating, of Miss Daisy Harris, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Harris (of Woodford), and Mrs. Stanley William Allibone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allibone (of Northampton).
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of white crepe-de-chine trimmed with pearls with wreath and veil of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
The chief bridesmaids were Miss Norah Harris (sister of the bride), and Miss Edie Allibone (sister of the bridegroom), who wore beige silk dresses and carried bouquets of chrysanthemums. Two small bridesmaids were Miss Freda White and Miss Joan Harris (nieces of the bride) wore pale green silk dresses carrying baskets of mauve asters. Mr. L. Pratt was best man.
The service was choral with Mrs. F. Locke at the organ.
A reception to fifty guests was held in the Church Schools. Messers. Valentine (of Northampton) was the caterers. The bride travelled in a beige costume with hat to match.
The honeymoon is being spent in London.
